Randall R. Rollins
Deacon

Brother Randall was saved in October 1982.  He was ordained as deacon in April of 1983 at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Delta, Alabama.  He and his family joined Liberty Baptist Church in February of 1995.  Randall and his wife Karen were married in June of 1974.  They have one daughter, Farrah R. Jackson, and one son, Nicholas Rollins.  Farrah is married to Wesley Jackson.  Randall works at the Carroll County Prison.

Phillip K. Heard

Brother Phillip was saved on January 24, 1997. He was ordained as a deacon on February 18, 2001. He and his wife Sharon have been married for 23 years and have 2 children, Amanda and Drew. Phillip and his family started attending Liberty in December of 1998 then later joined in March of 1999. He is employed by E.F. Houghton in Carrollton.

In Memory Of

John D. Weathers

Brother John was ordained as deacon on October 6, 1970.  He and his wife Emma Florene Ussery were married on June 9, 1956.  They have two children and four grandchildren.  John and Flo love working with the "Senior Saints" at Liberty Baptist Church.  They also coordinate the Couples' Retreat each year.

One of our dear church family members, Brother John Weathers, passed on to be with the Lord on the morning of March 2, 2003 during Sunday School.  Please pray for his precious wife, Sister Flo, his two children, and his four grandchildren.  Also, please pray for our church as Brother John will be very deeply missed.  There's no doubt in anyone's mind here at Liberty that Brother John is rejoicing with the Lord Jesus Christ in heaven right now.  We thank God for sending Brother John to Liberty and for the time he was here.

Brother Randy and his wife Jennifer were married in May of 2000.  Their daughter, Rileigh Ann-Elizabeth Daniel, was born on February 20, 2002.

"It is a privilidge to serve God at Liberty Baptist Church.  There is no doubt in my heart that God used Liberty to save this wayward Christian from a life of hell.  He pulled me out of a life of sin and placed me in His will and in an amazing church family.  I grew up in the neighborhood where the church is located.  As a child I played in the chicken house and the barns where Liberty is now.  I had no idea what God had in store for that hill, but He did and He knew that He would let me be a part of it.  Just as He knew before the foundation of the world that I would be one of His.  If I have learned anything in life I have learned that GOD IS BIG!!  I am humbled each time that I think about the grace that He has shown this worthless sinner.  He is truely a wonderful God."
