Liberty Food Ministry

  • The Food Ministry of Liberty Baptist Church will provide meals for families following a death, birth, hospitalization (i.e. surgery), or extended illness occurring in such family.

  • One meal, dinner for example, will be provided each day for 1-3 days, or as deemed appropriate for the situation.

  • The Food Ministry will provide for families of Liberty Baptist Church.

  • Under some circumstances (i.e. house burning), families outside our church in need may be served upon discussion and agreement among the group leaders.

  • One group will be asked to carry a meal; however, should someone feel led to carry food to a specific family in need they may do so.  Please contact Jennifer Daniel to let her know if planning to do this so that meals will not be overlapped.

  • Each group has a leader who will contact the members of that group and organize the mean (home-cooked or carry-out).

  • Should a leader need more help due to members of the group not available, please call Jennifer Daniel.

  • Thirteen groups will be rotated according to where the family in need lives.  For example, groups in Woodland will not be asked to deliver to Carrollton unless there is an emergency.

  • In the event of a death, it will be up to the family if they will be served in their home or at our fellowship hall.  Several groups may be asked to server during this time.

  • Please inform Jennifer Daniel of any events requiring our service via telephone or at church service so that planning can be underway quickly.

  • A list of groups, dates of service, and families served will be posted on the bulletin board located downstairs at the church.

Couples' Retreat

'Bee' sure YOU know how to keep honey in the 'hive'!  Come to the Couples' Retreat in Gatlinburg and get in on the Bible study, fun, and fellowship with other couples.  There will be tips on how to keep the 'honey' in the 'hive' of your marriage!  You don't want to miss!

What is a Couples' Retreat?

  • A time of relaxation from the stress of everyday life where the husband and wife can spend quality time.

  • A time of fellowship with your church family where you can enjoy good food, great stories, and a warmth that only a church family can enjoy.

  • A time of worship where you can hear messages about God's will for a husband and wife and how to develop a close and stronger commitment to each other.

  • A time of entertainment to enjoy good clean fun where a good laugh is the rule rather than the exception.
